The challenge

Finding an interesting brand is only the beginning of a purchase decision. Shipping availability, product range, and price positioning can make an appealing option irrelevant. The directory should make those constraints visible early while still giving emerging brands a distinctive presence.

Design approach

The homepage combines a curated selection with straightforward regional navigation. Cards show the brand's character through product imagery and a short set of attributes. The complete directory remains available for visitors who prefer to scan a wider range of options.

A focused interaction

Each profile uses a consistent information structure: what the brand makes, where it ships, its approximate price tier, and where to learn more. The directory supports discovery without pretending to replace a store's current stock, sizing advice, or checkout.

The complete experience

Visitors can save brands into a shortlist and compare the attributes that matter to them. A compact comparison view keeps the same information aligned across brands. Links to the original stores remain the clear next step when a visitor is ready to investigate a particular product.

Concept outcome

The result is a fictional interface concept spanning discovery, evaluation, and handoff to a store. No audience size, affiliate revenue, or conversion results are claimed. The design would be evaluated by how confidently people can form a relevant shortlist.

Next iteration

Further work would examine which brand attributes remain reliable over time and how editors can update the directory without creating a heavy maintenance process.
